Professional Experiences

Research assistant for collecting data from the Ganges Delta Plain from 06-03-18 to 19-03-18. Project Title: “Earth casting rates and patterns of Ganges distributary channel activity through stratigraphy and luminescence dating of deltaic deposits. Project Head: Dr. Elizabeth Chamberlain, Vanderbilt University.

Field surveyor (Field survey for spring water, Measuring water quality and quantity of spring water, data arrangement of field survey, assistance of Japanese experts) from 12-05-18 to 21-05-15 for the project for improvement of comprehensive management capacity of Department of Public Health Engineering on water supply in Bangladesh represented by team leader Dr. Yuichi Hata, Earth System Science.

Research assistant for collecting data in Patuakhali from 12.4.2018 to 03.05.2018. Project Title: ‘Assessment of total resilience of coastal community to prevent, risk reduction and relief against a cyclone like a disaster.’ Project Head: Md. Ashraful Islam, Assistant Professor, Department of Geology University of Dhaka

Research assistant during the field trials of the AquaAffirm Arsenic Sensors in Bangladesh August 2017, a project funded by the Royal Academy of Engineering, UK.


Multichannel Seismic (MCS) Data Processing and Interpretation. A 10-day training program held at Department of Geology, University of Dhaka, was a part of USAID PEER Science Grant “Toward Geohazard Assesment  in Bangladesh; Academic Infrastructure and Knowledge Transfer” from 28th Sep-07th Oct 2015

Participation in a collaborative 5 days long field trip in polder 32, Khulna and adjacent areas of Sundarbans aiming at monitoring the present day sedimentation and delta growth with research groups from Vanderbilt University, Columbia University,  Ohio State University,  Institute of Water Modelling, Bangladesh, Dhaka University from  3rd July-7th July 2018
