Welcome to the Department of Computer Science and Telecommunication Engineering (CSTE) at Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU).

Our department began its journey in 2006 and has established itself as one of the leading programs for both graduate and postgraduate studies in Bangladesh. Currently, CSTE offers Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral degrees. We have designed our curriculum to align with those of renowned universities worldwide. We take pride in our dedicated faculty members, who conduct exceptional research and hold prominent academic positions. They are involved in diverse research areas, including machine learning, computer vision, cybersecurity, stock markets, and renewable energy. Both faculty and students are committed to publishing in top journals and presenting at prestigious conferences. Each year, we admit 50 students, attracting some of the best talent in the field. We strive to create a positive educational environment that offers practical learning experiences. Our classrooms are equipped with modern facilities, including interactive boards, podiums, and sound systems. Following the successful completion of the Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP), our faculty members recently secured a prestigious Higher Education Acceleration and Transformation (HEAT) project, funded by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh and the World Bank, to enhance our department's infrastructure. Additionally, we organize programming contests that significantly improve our students' performance in the job market while enhancing their skills in competitive programming.
