The opening of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) Department at Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) is a response to the Society’s demand of the current era. In order to meet the Society’s demand, University Grant Commission (UGC) has approved to open EEE Department at NSTU on October 1, 2015. Finally, EEE Department started its academic activities with 33 students in B.Sc. (Eng.) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering program for the session 2016-2017 from January 2017. The aim of the department is to create technology leaders in EEE who will have the necessary skills and attitudes to be responsible and thoughtful contributors to the society. At present, the department has resources and lab facilities for Electrical Circuits, Analog & Digital Electronics, Electrical Machines and Power Systems. In addition, Telecommunication Engineering and Control System lab is under process and will be developed soon. We have a plan to offer Master’s and Ph.D. degree programs in Electrical and Electronic Engineering very soon. The course curricula of the department are constantly updated and focused on the latest trends in EEE technologies. The courses of the department are conducted by highly qualified and experienced faculty members, who are actively engaged in research activities in a various fields of Engineering, Science and Technology. The faculty members are educating and training the students with sound knowledge and awareness on the latest trends in their respective fields.
