Dr. Md. Shahid Sarwar

About Dr. Md. Shahid Sarwar

Dr. Sarwar obtained his PhD in 2019 as an awardee of the prestigious Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) from Hong Kong Baptist University. His PhD research focused on screening of potential cytotoxic compounds in multiple cancer cell lines including colorectal, breast, pancreatic, melanoma and lung cancer cells, as well as studies of their structure-activity relationship and mechanism of action in colorectal cancer cells and xenograft mice model. He has a good publication track record with a total impact factor about 80. Moreover, he presented the outcomes of his research in several conferences in the USA, UK, Denmark, Japan, Hong Kong and Bangladesh.

Dr. Sarwar is currently working with several research projects as PI and co-PI.
