About Israt Eshita Haque
Bibliography
I was born and brought up with a spiritual connection with society. The different perspectives of society including poverty, crime, family relationship, social environment, gender violence, child abuse, social myths, etc. have been widely influenced and motivated me since my childhood. Having completed my M.S.S and B.S.S in Sociology from the University of Dhaka, a prominent public university of our country, I started my professional journey as a lecturer of the department of sociology in Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU), Noakhali from April 11, 2018. This particular journey extensively inspired me with the milieu of the social research area and shaped my career. I was attached to different administrative responsibilities such as an Assistant Provost, Course coordinator, Student adviser, and so on. Currently, I am working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology, NSTU. As an academic, I am now actively engaged in teaching, social research as well as policy-related activities which have provided me with an enhanced capacity and leadership. Moreover, some of my research publications were published in different international journals in the field of social science. However, my multidisciplinary education and professional engagement have enriched my practical knowledge and experiences through diversified learning approaches. I would like to acquire more knowledge in both academic and administrative affairs dealing with broader aspects of social science.
