About Md. Jamsedul Islam

Md. Jamsedul Islam (Rafi) has been working as a lecturer at the Tourism and Hospitality Management department in Noakhali Science and Technology University for more than three years. He grew up in Hatiya, a small island in Noakhali, Chittagong, Bangladesh. He graduated with a BBA in Accounting and Information Systems degree from the University of Chittagong in 2017 and an MBA in Accounting and Information Systems degree with distinction from the same University in 2018.  He began his teaching career with the Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) at the beginning of January 2019 as a permanent faculty member. He also holds some teaching experiences as an Adjunct faculty with Feni University and Chittagong University of Science and Creative Technology. From the very beginning of his teaching career, he had been involved with Research and Development activities. He successfully published some research articles in some world-reputed journals, although he faced limitations such as grants and materials.

He lives in Housing Estate, Maijdee Court, Noakhali, with his wife Tahmina Islam and two lovely kids Iram and Yameen.

He enjoyed exercising, cooking, reading, watching movies, and traveling.
