About Md. Shohel Khan

Mr. Md. Shohel Khan acheived his Bachelor of Science (Honours) and Master's of Science (Thesis) in Geography and Environment from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He joined Noakhali Science and Technology University on 25 January 2018 in the Department of Environmental Science and Disaster Management. Previously, he secured 1st position in his subject in 31st Bangladesh Civil Service (general education) Cadre Examination, conducted by Bangladesh Public Service Commission and joined in government college on 15 January 2013 as a lecturer in Geography and Environment. During his teaching tenure, he took part severel trainings and workshops, presented research works in conferences and seminers.

Nine research articles and three conference proceedings were published to a credit as a co-author. In addition, he supervised 15 undergradute and two MS thesis students till the end of 2020.

He is very much interested to develop his academic career in disaster management and water sustainability related scientific research collaboration with top to bottom level organizations and academicians as well as government officials.
