Research Interests:
Razat Suvra Das is keenly interested in physical oceanography, climate science and meteorology, remote sensing and GIS, mapping, effect of environmental pollution and mitigation, renewable energy from ocean, bio-resources of the oceans. He is also interested in identifying perturbing effect of cyclones on weather, weather forecasting, using remote sensing and GIS to create analytical database of local aquaculture ponds and natural water reservoirs, comparative analysis of different weather forecasting system etc. He is currently teaching Introduction to Oceanography, Physical Oceanography, Marine Pollution and EIA, Fluid Dynamics and Hydrology, Remote sensing and GIS. |
About Razat Suvra Das
Mr. Razat Suvra Das is an early career teacher and scientist. He had completed his graduation and post graduation from Institute of Marine Sciences and Fisheries, University of Chittagong, Chittagong, Bangladesh. He worked in several research projects both domestic and foreign during his graduation and postgraduation. He has a great motive to work on oceanographic sector of Bangladesh and confirming sustainable use of ocean resources through innovative ideas. Earlier he had completed his SSC and HSC from Brahmondi K.K.M. Govt. High School and Narsingdi Govt. College respectively.
